Don't the tdi's use T25 turbos?

Rebuild kits for those are under $100 on your door from ebay US. I rebuilt the T25 on my 4BD1 myself, appears to be holding up fine.
My rebuild was needed after the oil feed line came apart.

How much of a difference does VNT Turbo make to the Torque Figure of Tdi engine,do you have any dyno figures? , will I need to set up / regraph my Fuel Pump , is Turbo already balanced ? I remeber talkint to GCG couple of days ago and they gave me a Quote to re-Servicing of my garret Turbo for Tdi of around $550 ? will this Turbo need to be installed by a Turbo specialist for correct balancing ? Will the Fuel Pump need to be optimised for Better performance ? will I need to exchange my existing turbo charger?
