    Thanks for updating!

Just in case anyone misses it elsewhere:
Could all Tdi owners please note on the data sheet if they install the Provent with or without the standard cyclone

And don't forget to start fill out the data sheet upon install, and keep it updated!

    THANKS!

I am at the complete opposite side of things from retail. To buy one you would need to contact the Australian distributors, who can tell you how much they cost and your nearest retailer:

Some of the people who missed out may be interested in going in on a group buy.

    Cath me up

Ok ok I read everything up to page six and it looked like it was going on forever so I jumped to the end .

Right I just checked out where to fit one on my TD5. How much will it cost me. I am to late for the trial run and any ideas where in Perth i can get one.

Are those who have one now fitted happy with the results.

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

I have 50 people for the test, however I can add your name to the reserve list in case anyone doesn't collect theirs.

13 mm poly tee into the OE breather return line - although having said that, the tee needs to be as low as possible as it will only just have enough fall. If the fall proves insufficient and the oil backs up, I'll have it brazed into the turbo line next service. I was hoping to find brass, but the poly seems to be coping.

I've done 1,000 k and the oil is only just starting to form at the element inlet, so it won't be a major problem if you find the fall isn't sufficient for it to drain properly.

It is on the drivers side. It comes out of the bottom of the OE breather and terminates about 150mm lower down into a fitting that is bolted to the block.

Thanks Joel, i thought there may have been something on the LH side apart from the the turbo oil line to tap into.
