    That's a shame if he's not on here much, not purely from a personal level, but his input seems to have been quite great in the past!

    Thanks Damien for the info. Tried the first posted business website link (in 2011) but broken. Couldn't see any other link posted. Will just have to wait I guess, or develop alternatives.

    From what I understand, Sheldon is gearing up for a production run of the conversion kits, including additional staff.

    His last post was on this very subject. My uninformed guess is that he wants everything locked in before he makes any further announcements or contacts prospective customers. (Me included)

    You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    I appreciate Sheldon's last post and everything he is doing, but no information for nearly two months despite various forms of making contact makes me wonder if the kit is still a goer? But given your confidence maybe I should just sit back on the park bench with you guys and wait

    He has gone away and come back a few times but I don't think he has ever promised anything he hasn't delivered.

    That said, when it comes to the MSA box conversions the line is quite long and I'm sure a little daunting

    I appreciate what your saying but knowing Sheldon the kits are a goer it is more a matter of when. He has priorities in his life and my impression is the conversions kit while important are not on the top of the list. I appreciate that he has even gone to the trouble to work all this out so we are able to benefit. if you are really desperate you can buy my kit for what it costs now and I would be happy to wait as I am yet to get around to putting it in till next year. Which I feel by then I could then source another one from him.

    Thanks for your kind offer garryseries3, but I think if you've already got it then hang on to it

    My certifier is due to leave Darwin Sept next year. I'm hoping to do two conversions before that happens, Isuzu engine and box into 82 RRC and Tdi300 into another auto 82 RRC. Probably over ambitious.

    I have received feed back from a number of people, who know Sheldon through other interactions, and gives me a better understanding of what to expect.

    The one thing I might ask of you, if willing, is what the components cost. I am interested in the gear lever, adaptor housing from MSA gearbox to transfer box, and input shaft. Sheldon has explained he does not want to post prices publicly to threads because factors change and he doesn't want someone trying to pin him down on something no longer relevant, which is fair enough. A confidential personal message from you might cover Sheldon's concerns I would think, unless he has asked people not to pass on details. I just want a rough ball park for how much to lay aside. If you feel uncomfortable about my request, then understood.

    Spoke to Sheldon today via phone...with the growl of his 4bd1t audible in the back ground...and of course he was parked up on the verge while we had our discussion...I told him to stop talking and just rev the engine Says he will be on the forum soon regarding the next run of adaptors and gear changers.
