I would be interested to know what starter you have, as it could save me cutting my new (to me) chassis. Hmm, maybe the landie isuzu has a different tooth pitch on the ring gear and pinion may be incompatible

Edit: BTW, I meant to add compliments for your work on the adaptors

From the image there is a landy flywheel cover so does any one know is it going to possible to use the isuzu truck flywheel cover directly up to the isuzu bell housing insteed. Or will this alter some other component of the adaption?

    Garry,
If you use a truck flywheel housing the bellhousing will bolt straight up,you will need to use the truck flywheel and clutch too. That way it's all standard off the shelf items, the landy flywheel housing is 80mm as opposed to 105mm for the truck one.So it should end up the same length as the adapter shown.
    Cheers Eric

That sounds good so I will use the isuzu clutch folk and thrust bearing, so once grubb's adaptors are completed and I manage to buy one, I end up with the landy adaptor flywheel left over. What its worth for scap they are pretty heavy so should be worth a $ at the wreckers. Just joking, I am sure there is a good home out there for them and the isuzu lying in my the shed.

The Isuzu truck housing puts the starter motor lower. You may have chassis clearance issues.
You may not, but it's worth checking.

    Finally installed it all.

Just need to finish bleeding the clutch, putting a new starter cable from the battery (I am using the Isuzu starter motor/flywheel cover for this one to make sure it is doable), putting the drive shafts back on and all the floor back in.

Shift mechanism all fits under the standard tunnel except for one little piece. It actaully fits with a little trimming of the insulation in that area, but I plan to modify the bit so this isn't needed.

Will finish it all next week after the long weekend.

Took her for a spin this morning.

All good, including 24V Starter Clearance with chassis.
