Yeah I struck it pretty lucky to be honest it was covered in batscat when I got it and had been in the sun for ages but everything was straight, no scratches or damage so it just took some heavy buffing.

Happy days and thank you :-)

    Snow White Disco 1997 TDI

This is my Disco TDI 1997. I bought it from Japan in 8 months ago. It was stock when I bought it and it's still somewhat stock.

    Here is the list:

    Interior:

JBL 5.5" speakers front (cut larger holes in the door, and its somehow fits)
JBL 6x9" speakers rear (custom mount needed to be made for this)
New boots for shifters and hand breake
    Painted console
    New headliner
Lot of sound insulation (the sticky rubber with foil) from RAAMaudio - Automotive sound deadening products, it makes a huge difference. I have in the footwells, doors. Still need to do under the front seats,
back seat, rear wheel wells (inside), and 2nd row floor.
Rotopax storage box Fuel Cans : Gas Pack : Gasoline Containers : RotopaX.com (I think I will do rear door checker plate and instal this along with a folding table and fire extinguisher)
New custom carpets for front and 2nd row
    Window tint
    220V inverter

    Exterior:

Front bumper is custom and it has LEDs and painted grill (here is the link for full writeup)http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...isco-leds.html
Rear bumper is painted black metallic
    Skid plate, custom
Roofrack also custom (link to more pictures)http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...half-rack.html
    Clear turn indicators
    Custom bar for Hella lights
    Hella lights

Maintenance and repair: (first 5 months of ownership at 100k km)

Replaced timing belt (just in case)
Tested the engine compression (after thermostat failure if you wan tot read the story http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-...me-i-hope.html)
Replaced all suspension bushings, and tie rods.
Replaced original shocks with Terrafirma, but I wasn't happy so went to KONI Heavy tracks and they are great.
Replaced alternator (jumpy tacho, but it didn't help)
    Adjusted swivel pin
    Topped up the AC.

Parts in the garage (sitting and waiting):
    Superwinch 9500
    Mantec snorkel
I don't know when I am going to install it, but I have it
Terrafirma blue turbo hoses (can't install as this is Japanese version and has all kinds of extra stuff there)
Full head gasket kit, with bolts and everything (just in case)
    Water pump (just in case)

    FUTURE PROJECTS:
Rear door checker plate, drop down table
    Boost wheels (still debating that.
Any other ideas anyone?? (just don't sugest a lift, I am not doing that
