EDIT. Actually Sash's post reminded me of a conversation I had many years ago with the elderly mother of a friend I used to call in now & then & see for a cuppa when in the area.

Getting on in years she was pondering the situation of how there could be a Reincarnation when somebody was Cremated or Interred in a grave come to that. Placing my filo, philo bugger it, Filosophical, philphosical hat on I think I put her mind at ease when I pointed out she would not know about it if it happened or didn't, but because she was a good/great person in her life asked why she really wanted to be Reincarnated anyway but just keep on doing good in the time she had left.

I , then , like a bolt of lightning from the blue, knew my life had been wasted by being a Fridgie instead of vying for the position of Anglican Archbishop of Adelaide & a well stocked Wine Cellar, Limo & other trappings & perks including a nice fancy seasonal wardrobe.

Anyway, she has gone now & will have found out for herself now. I just hope it isn't different to what I described or she'd have said "That bloody Mr Bee talking out of his arse again."
