I believe so. Dunno about older vehicles where it wasn't there originally. I must admit, I turned up a wooden gear knob for my Hillman Hunter in 1972. It might still be on the car 'cos I have the original black knob in my boxes of car parts. (The car is still on the road.)

I reckon no copper would notice if the knob pattern didn't match the gearbox pattern, e.g., a knob off an LT95 4-speed on an R380 5-speed.

I hate it when people (as its both genders) do it in the door way to a supermarket or shop!

    What gives there??!!

A middle aged lady in front of me chipped a group one day blocking the doorway just inside a Woolies.
One of the blue rinse old dears shot back "we can, we're locals!" The lady that asked them to move "so what, so am I, move!" Grumpy old buggers threadGrumpy old buggers thread

Or oldies that stop as they step off at the top of a bloody escalator to get their bearings, with the rest of us piling up behind and falling over them as we can't stop!!

Miscreants these days can't shift their own gears anyway, so if it's a manual we're safe!

Didn't see Easter eggs, but I had a grump to my grandkids on Tuesday when I spotted hot cross buns in both Woollies and Aldi! Both of them still selling discounted Christmas stuff still!
