If the elderly amongst us were dismissed to the rubbish bin I doubt there would be a board.

Apparently. "Poppy, why are you always so grumpy ?" from mister four. I thought I was doing quite well controlling the grumps at the time...

What makes me REALLY GRUMPY is when TV series get cancelled by the makers before a satisfactory conclusion is reached. Outlander, Colony, etc. GRRRRR. It even makes Mrs. Mark F grumpy and that generally takes some doing.
    Cheers,

My eleven year old tries this on every few days! I don't particularly mind it as long as it is in the spirit of fun.

My family often say I am grumpy so my response is that if I am grumpy there is no need to include them in my will - soon quietens them down.

But only if 6 Tea Bags were used or alternatively half a pound of the finest floor sweepings from Bushell's packing room floor.

Had a **** of a day, last thing the lecky turned up to replace a fridge door smashed in a break in.
Foster daughter,12, asked what they were doing.
I said "There here to chop up little girls & eat them!"
Daughter went flying out the door.

Later daughter asked why I say that sort of thing?
I said because I'm a Grumpy Old Man.
She said "I know that, but you are scary as well."
    Pretty happy with that.

PS Love her dearly but can't help stirring her up.
