It has to be this way or we are all doomed.

Take care all, I hope the traditional Easter Carnage will be nil, but it will still be interesting to see a comparison with other years, including Birth Rates in 9 months time..

Not quite. A little bit less of doom & gloom would be good. Just keep doing what we've been doing. And use some common sense.

I wonder how many selfish/thoughtless people will be hooking up their vans/campers/boats this Easter and try to avoid the restrictions that have been put in place for public safety.
IF people insist on Having to go camping then why not simply set up your gear in the back yard for the Easter break

I'm sure there'll be some who think the rules don't apply to them, unfortunately. Perhaps a vehicle impoundment for a time may get through to them?

Geez, I picked a good time to put our camper on the market, ay?

If you read the link to what's legal at Easter you will see that cars towing vans will be on the police radar. It's precisely this behaviour that authorities are concerned about. Not some one going to their local shop. Many families are virtual camping in their backyards now, sharing their experience on social media. Being an ex military man, you might like to consider this. This seems like a useful explanation of what we know about how this particular coronavirus jumped through an intermediary to humans. There are lots of coronaviruses around which normally don't cause a problem. Fish may also be a host.

Bats have lived with coronaviruses for thousands of years. What made this one jump?
How did this coronavirus start? It probably came from bats, but how and why? - Science - ABC News
