My thoughts are have a vaccine if offered. the rubbish is overwhelming facts.

    "The variants are spreading

A variant first discovered in New York, B.1.526, has spread more widely in the city than all of the others so far. There has also been a significant increase in cases linked to the B.1.1.7 variant, which was first detected in Britain last year and now makes up nearly 30 percent of new cases sequenced in New York City.
The B.1.1.7 variant has driven new surges of sickness from Poland to Michigan. It is estimated to be 60 percent more contagious and two-thirds more deadly than the original form of the virus. This variant is now the main source of new infections across the United States and in Europe"

It is not my hope but worry that those refusing or delaying offered vaccines due to changes last week are possibly going to be unable to get vaccines If/When the cat gets out of the bag again.

I'll take it as a compliment. Some of the Irish in Northern Island would like to talk to alexander, I believe.

They can always make a booster for the variants. Stopping them getting into Australia is the Government's priority. Probably best left to the States, going on past performance. Suffering no major ill effects from my jab, just sore muscles this morning, like I've played a game of rugby. To be expected. The next 14 days are the key, pains in the legs and major headaches, in that time, are red lights. But a few pains are better than being on a ventilator, struggling to live. I think, anyway. Good to see the States have talked our PM into agreeing to vaccination hubs. The National Cabinet is going to meet twice weekly , the more the Feds listen to the States, the better.

Dr Anthony Fauci lectures Australia on our vaccine roll out. Community vaccine centres, mobile vaccination units , vaccines to pharmacy's, all helped the US vaccinate 4.6 million people in one day.

Dr Anthony Fauci advises Australia to make jab rollout top priority (thenewdaily.com.au)

See what you have done now bob? GP's Medical Club are up in arms now as they reckon the "Hubs" will soak up most of the available Vaccines & leaving not a lot for them.

    Jeeezuz, you can't win sometimes!

Let us all hope various gubmints (Fed. & State) & Medical Rooms etc learn a lot from our first big cats-arse-trophy for the next time we have to face summat like this in the Supply, Storage, Support, Logistics, Organisation & well Preparedness (?) Depts. Oh & knowing what to do of course.

Call it a War Chest without the bombs 'an stuff. Just needs the will & the dosh to do it.

Keeping the politics out of it, and listening to the best medical advice , which is what the States did, [ most of them, at least] is the way to go. Did you get some paperwork to prove you've had your first Jab ?

AMA, Dr Fauci - Its all politics Honestly Doctors can now easily vaccinate all over 50s. Now the under 50s have been removed from us as we cannot use the phissa vax

I like Dr Fauci and the AMA presidents thoughts. The 50 per week would be 50 daily IF we get the supply and we can do it as part of work as normal. We can easily manage both if it is given to your GP. The Mass vaccine centres are going to be needed for the supper cold ones. No way I am buying a freezer. The UVc Lights, UVc air sterilizers and UV led airconditioning head units + a Kiwi product called Zono have stripped the business bank balance far more than my tight wad back side appreciates

I do so hope they will get together for a yarn, probably on one of Bo Jo's Gladiatorial Trips where he will explain to the residents how he combated C-19 single handededly because all the rest of his advisors/lackeys didn't have a flamin' clue & kept changing their minds. Nowt to do with him of course. Like to be a fly on the wall for that one. Hey 3 toes, do you have flies & walls there? I know there used to be some.

Now they have come out of lockdown, the realities of Brexit will be more apparent. Wonder how Boris will talk his way out of that.
