Hey, got the jab, no problems , just very tired ATM. SWMBO says nothing is different. They even booked me in for a second jab in three months time. Fingers crossed, she said. Just joking [ I think.]

Quite an interesting read on the way that we are viewing the risk associated with the AZ vaccine and the sense of security that having no local cases brings to us, posing greater questions about if we can ever open our borders if we don't accept some risk....

There is never zero risk, so why do we treat COVID-19 so differently?

Have a look around the World, at countries that either opened up too early, or relaxed restrictions too early. Or , didn't lock down soon enough. The only time to open borders is when we have been vaccinated. It's a no brainer.

Any Body-Language experts in our midst ? - Someone looking over my shoulder commented that Boris smiles strangely when he mentions Lockdown, as though he's got a special Secret. He's a Politician, so he's bound to be deviously hiding stuff.

Another oddity, he/UK government is pushing the 'vaccines' for everyone as being the only way forward, yet he denigrates the value of the 'Vaccine'. Hardly consistent IMHO. Those over there who suggest he wants to keep locking down.... may be on to something.
