Bag WA all you want But at leasr we are doing our fair share of repatriation of the Aussies from overseas ....

Well no, it appears that WA is processing its own residents only and even then it isn't even processing all of them - NSW and Vic are processing the WA residents that fall outside the WA cap.

Realistically, it's NSW that's been carrying the burden of repatriation, particularly during the Vic lockdown.

And I remain puzzled by this State-based parochialism - FFS, it's one country and whatever people may like to think, there's no discernible differences in character between the residents in one State and the next. Sure, the process of forming affiliation by the structuring of otherness might lead you to believe that there are differences but there really aren't.

Correct - I did the basic numbers a month or so ago and Vic or NSW, or Vic and NSW, could survive as separate countries: none of the other States or Territories could.

So, absolutely nothing has changed since Federation.

Fascinatingly, WA's economy hasn't changed at all as it's still entirely reliant on primary industry.

FYI: in November/December there were 90,000 new jobs created in Australia - 74,000 of them were in Victoria ..... so, 82% of all new jobs ..... Victoria now has more people employed than it did a year ago, so an actual rise over 12 months .... Vic's jobs growth is 2.2% ....

When you have a stream of accusations coming out of 1 individual in Canberra towards WA not lifting their weight its no wonder a bit of parochialism comes to the surface , you know the old saying kick a dog long enough and you will get bit .

Any way thats my slant on it , Head lines today , Canberrans angry because they all shot back to Canberra from the NSW south coast in confusion over border closures , they wont be missed in my old stomping grounds in Moruya . Merry Christmas to all .

Not a conspiracy based enquiry; just curiosity.

Who here knows somebody who has had the virus?
    Directly knows - not hearsay.
