NSW records 124 new COVID cases on worst day of outbreak so far (msn.com)
"Up to 87 of the 124 new cases were in the community while infectious.
That number includes 48 who were in the community for their entire infectious period and 22 who were in the community for part of their infectious period."

I'm sorry to say it, but with that many people in the community infectious and with Delta having such a high R0 rate, that's heading towards numbers like Melbourne had last year.

In contrast, Melbourne had 22 today but all but 6 were in isolation.

Everyone’s opinion is valid and a good discussion relies on difference, like life in general. Anyone who thinks everyone else should see everything the same way as them is at risk of being perceived as a dictator.
I think you missed the point.

Condensing all the negative into one thread can have a serious effect on people.

    A balanced discussion is good.

The individual I referred to is just posting negative after negative, consuming bandwidth with links to what no sooner is posted is out of date, and contributing very little in return for his incessant posts.

A thread discussing positives as well would be a great thread. This one is just the BMW Covid thread (Bitch moan whinge) full of negativity.

As a balance - I posted that I’m not amused by the priorities given to sporting codes…
Lonely Old Man smart arse, with his sarcastic lack of wit then assumed I don’t participate in sport and used his usual thinly vailed BS in his response.

Have a read in the thread, he continually lobs crap on all the other states, holier than now about his place of residence, and just like a spambot posting link after link of negativity.

Anyway, the SOC is now on my block list.

According to Minister Martin Foley [ who comes across as extremely competent btw, ] there were 26 locally acquired cases, with all but two cases in isolation during their entire infectious period. One of the cases who wasn't in isolation was travelling from country Victoria and stopped to get fuel, they sanitised their hands and credit card before paying and moving on home. The second was in the community for a day, before isolating at home. From the Riverine Herald.

Victoria records 26 new cases, all linked (riverineherald.com.au)
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

It’s evidenced in almost every post.

    Thinly veiled.

Thats why I have him on my ignore list and only see what he has posted when someone else quotes him. The problem is when I open the thread, sometimes I can have almost a full page of blocked Bobby posts and nothing else as he posts thread after thread of links and old news.

Back on Covid, we came through the Tweed border about 9pm tonight, border declarations all approved and ready to display, but no-one was there, except one bloke setting out traffic cones ahead of the 1am closure, so that was an anti climax.
Then we got stuck in repeated traffic queues to Springwood, caused by roadworks!
