Nah, a lot of people think it's all over, so there's less distancing, mask wearing and sanitiser use.

If there's 8% of 6.6 mill unvaxed the numbers won't go down anytime soon. Just look at the US.

92% of eligible people vaxxed - that leaves a ****load that aren’t. It’s running rampant through schools at the moment - we are down at least one person each day at work whose kids have tested positive and they are having to isolate. With the vax rollout to younger children starting late Jan, I would assume we won’t see a drop until April or May sometime.

I am the 1st to admit that computer technology is not my thing .

Spent the morning trying to get my Double Covid Vaccination Certificate in line , got as far as entering expirer date on Medicare card & keeps telling me it incorrect even though all the other security checks were ok & could not go any further. Grrrrrrr , couple of phone calls & hours going through procedure on phone & still getting nowhere . Grrrrrrrr again , told I need to go to Centre Link, Grrrrrrr, Hung up & tried 1hr later & got mine. Now for my wife's , because we booth have same Email address & my mobile is only one listed with My Gov it will only bring up my account , so back on phone again to find out how to get hers , to be told she will have to get her own email address or go to Centrelink to sort it. My wife dose not use the internet & is not well enough to go into Centrelink or deal with them on the phone & when we tried to put Qld Covid app on her I phone it told us it was too old. One of her health care provider's told me she will need the certificate by the 17th or they will no longer treat her & My Gov will not let me talk to them on her behalf. Grrrrrr. So looks like I will have to get someone to look after my wife next week to go to Telstra to get her a new phone & an Email address which she will never use , then waist hours opening a my Gov account so I can take her for coffee a couple times a week & still use this health care provider. We booth got a card from the doctor with when we had our double Vaccinations & were told then that is all we needed , but they won't accept them.

This is a marathon, isn't it. I can't think how frustrated people in Vic. & NSW must be, but I have a horrible feeling we may be about to find out. I'm not so worried about myself , really, but the wife and grand kids , who are very close. Still, our forbears got thru the great flu pandemic, and we'll get thru this, eventually. Maintaining a positive outlook is difficult at times, but hey it could be worse. We could be in the USA or the UK, those poor beggers are really copping it. So, put on a happy face, and smile.

Because you still catch Covid if you are vaccinated - the statistic that counts is hospital admissions and ICU admissions - I think they are stable but not sure.

They will when the other 8% either die or get immunity from the virus.

Just checked, hospitalisations are stable, but ICU's are under intense demand. Once again, unvaccinated people are ending up in the ICU's.
