A couple with just one strap/cord hanging down & the 3rd "claiming" to have an exemption (??) & all with takeaway coffee cups that they could have consumed out side before entering before fitting their masks correctly. The 3rd could have been a liar. She couldn't move as the desk is at the end of the counter so they moved up as she did. All were laughing & carrying on like Pork Chops as people tend to do when in a group that knows they are wrong. She was greeted with "We know the law", odd that as they were virtually maskless. The Postmaster normally a urinary wet type of person( I normally refer to him as a Pain in the arse". Ok so I got my body parts slightly mixed up. could not be bothered entering into the conversation even though the PO had signs up.
Anyway she did all she could & got out asap.

But it does prove to us that some people don't really care & will contribute to this Business going on & on & on etc so long as they can have their own way.

    Regards to Mario.
Yes when I go to our small post office to get orders out, they have tape marking where you are to stand and a limit of 5 in the post office people keep pushing the envelope to get more in there. Now we have over 51,000 cases in Vic it is a worry for me to leave the house, and what I could carry back in to the house. If people have more respect for others it would make it a bit easier for me.

Sometimes you need some sort of comparison to judge unfamiliar things.
I recently saw a T-shirt with such a useful piece of information.
It said something along the lines of, "If I can turn around and punch you in the face, you are too close".

Are you thinking of flogging these VN? Could be a nice line in your new job, unless you are going into the Priesthood or Counseling side of things. .

    Pay it forward? It worked

I have been over ordering at times or giving uneeded vax to others. VCE kids, Nursing homes, Not yet getting vax medical centres and any other half assed reason. Graft ? No payment and not charges at all and all recorded at 9pm Friday in my OMG I wish I was back at sea or way up in the high country out of mobile phone range

Staff with covid had me reception which is honestly a tough job. Multiple people with very very good reasons to ask for what we cannot do is a little tough to deal with honestly. Cancer, urgent hospital admissions next week and could we please give a vax before my nurse or program starts fully this Thursday after D day for those few heart twisters.

The pay it back was very very easy. All the Doctors who have been on the reviving end helped and asked "is that all?" I just swapped a 1000 for 5 vax.

Very very happy to now being in the odd spot of having to beg others I have given to for a little back to cover my butt next fortnight That is a given as I will give it back to them PS I just run like a nutter at 4.52 minutes per KM for just one km. I was sub 4min for multiple 5km session pre the big break. Suspect by the time I run in Port Fairy Marathon I just might be able to do a km at 4min.
I know its off topic but I am bragging and big noting myself already.

Just re-ordered Deliver 28 Jan is having me flying close to the bar. One day I may get caught short. Not allowed until this is over. 20km run in the morning to make me feel good- Dopamine hit pending

Sooooo, back to numbers. My wife’s positive won’t be counted…….assuming she’ll shut the systems over the next week.

In Victoria you're supposed to notify that you've had a positive RAT result: that's why we we had over 51,000 positives today (!!!!!!! - can you imagine how we would've reacted to that 6 months ago?): about half were RAT tests from the last week that were only able to be reported on a new system that came into operation from yesterday.

Just a bit. When you can do a 4 minute mile come back & brag then.

PS.. If you want to get yourself murdered by all means go up to the High Country but that could apply to a visit to a beach anyway, well maybe not murdered but deaded, & it is all the same at the end of the day anyway.

Oddly when I walk hike back pack up high some thing may die. A deer IF its in range of recovery to the car yep I kill things if I can eat them

If people see me and usually they do not I suspect they just might move off the other way unless they know me Des.

Back to running. Ringwood to home at a moderate pace no way I will ever be a 4 minute miler. Sprinters are cool. Not my game.

Back to topic. Might need FULL PPE just to get to my vax sessions starting Thursday! I am 3 down now Two are not Covid!!!

Its getting a bit tricky with staffing everywhere in the medical world now. Suspect it will be a bit of a slog plus. Not sure if all of us will escape the omicron R rate which is obscenely efficient. With almost all 99% of vaxed people getting seriously ill it is the kids and those who chose to be a doubter who seem to be in the main firing line. A interesting pod cast on my run seemed rational in suggesting the prior testing was about 1/3 of the true cases and is now a multiple of 5 to the likely cases. DHS graph is off the chart

I suspect most of us are going to get it mildly until the next variation bites which it might. What comes after O in Greek?
