This was the first year I attended. It sure was hot which in a way detracted from the day but obviously couldn't be helped.
I was impressed with the ticketing area and the speed in which we entered and parked. Congrats to LROCV & CFA in this area.
Getting around to all the exhibitors was easy enough. I was mainly looking for general accessories so found a good variety.
Any exhibitors reading this - considering there was going to be a significant number of LR owners there, how about bringing LR accessories and LR vehicles fitted with such accessories. Will help with demonstations and selling next time.
I agree that LROCV members at the marquee seemed a little standoffish but the heat would have been a big factor here.
Main improvements I could suggest would be:
Clearly identifiable volunteers walking the crowd so questions could be asked.
Few more rubbish bins would have been good (not sure if this was an issue for clean-up crews)
Bit more shade on such hot days but again I appreciate this is all cost. I suppose I felt for the parents with young ones in prams etc.
Thank you to LROCV for putting on the event and I will be back next year to see how it goes. Thanks also to CFA volunteers for their time.
Oh - big criticism - I didn't get to see Kenny at the dunnies![]()
