Makes it look so easy with a laconic Aussie accent.

So it seems to me the Zip kit is all the springs shims and collars etc. while you still need to get the genuine solenoids from ZF.

Having done the valve body rebuild, I think if you skip on the vacuum tests and the possible need to ream and replace some valves (not DIY), you may not have the best end result.
Mine was done and started out really well, but now shifts worse than before What happened to your D3/D4 today?

Have been planning a Fraser Trip all year, originally September then December. First cancelled due to borders now fires. Just ordered myself a Front Runner Front Plate as a consolation prize in the black friday sale. What happened to your D3/D4 today?

    Xlifter

Fitted an Xlifter. Great bit of kit. As easy to change heights on the fly as Llams. I do a lot of camping, and I sleep in my car. The self levelling feature is the main reason for this purchase.
And it works flawlessly, it utilises the full suspension travel. If you don’t use the leveling feature then I don’t think it is worth the extra coin over llams.

Well, I was at rover range getting some other things done, so I just got them to do it while it was there. But to my understanding, super easy to fit.

Make sure vehicle is parked level.
    Remove lower cover.
Adhere the units heavy duty hook tape to existing module.
    Fit XLifter vertically
Unplug original ecu and connect loom between Xlifter and factory unit.
    Power up vehicle and Xlifter
    Run set up - RHD
    Calibrate sequence runs
    Done
