The inner pad was way more worn than the outer pad (on both sides)...

Have a look across the forum... heaps - more so on D1/2 and Defenders won’t fix them when they crack the mounts and take them off...

Then wonder why the inner pads wear so fast!

Seen a oring rebuild kit on the net, so placed the order and hopefully it will arrive by mid Jan - seems UK post is faster than ours - and will have a play when it arrives.

Hopefully the 4 new air struts will arrive around the same time...

4x4 air seals do a good kit and video of how to. Amazingly simple job to rebuild.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure that was who I purchased thru but without checking it's only a maybe.

I have had a fair bit to do with air operated gear and hynaughtics so cant imagine it's too complicated.

Not difficult when they're well behaved. Those naughty ones are a bugger, though.

What happened to your D3/D4 today?

Discovered a sound (sound a bit like a heavy sheet of steel vibrating) that I can only replicate when going in reverse on R lock. Sound comes from front L wheel. Standard 19” wheels. Hope it’s not too expensive. Was louder than normal today when it was in locked low height. Didn’t think to see if the sound was there at normal height.

Tried to replicate it on my slopped driveway with no effect. Seemed to only be able to be replicated when I was in a flat car Park. Didn’t matter of the car was moving it stationary, same sound.
