What makes you think that having a HC licence make towing 3.8 tonne unbraked with a car OK?

Note that the cable fix still will not work if the latch doesn't open, it only works for a broken cable.
Mine got stuck earlier this year. Someone suggested pressing the key fob button and the tail gate button simultaneously. Worked for me, worth a try. I had the actuator etc changed shortly after. I was going to do it at the next service but Murphy thought otherwise.

    Good luck.

Storage unit worked well for a few days away camping, just a few things to finish off.Quite light without the fridge slide but still quick and light to remove when not being used.

By that logic you could have done it with a Hyundai Getz. Kinda took the chicken way out, towing with a Disco didn't you, champ?

    Wow!!!!

With an attitude like yours and an obvious complete lack of anything between the ears, I reckon I could even guess which brand of breakfast cereal you found that hc licence in.

Hopefully you don't drive anything large and heavy on the roads - there's more than enough dangerous idiots out there as it is.

Speaking of which - is the 2nd hole through the firewall above or below the accelerator? I’m mounting a Celfi Go antenna tomorrow

Been noticing vibration coming through the transmission at idle recently, was getting worse up to the point where I would put it in neutral at traffic lights to relieve the effect. Was thinking the dreaded torque converter issue. Now at 212000km. After some unsuccesful / non result troubleshooting at home, I took it into my indie, and they diagnosed that both engine mounts have/are failing. They are active mounts and at present don't hold vacuum anymore, hence the vibration when at idle.

Currently none in stock in Perth, but relatively easy to replace. I am ordering some from o/s, been advised to use genuine only. Plus no issues found with transmission or anything else, so pretty happy with that.

    Will update once replaced.
