Neither of you, nor me, nor anyone on this forum knows what it will be like - so why so passionate and argumentative on something that does not exist as yet.

So why not chill out and wait to when it is actually released and then all your various comments on the new vehicle can be made with some basis.

Mate im not upset or angry and get a room joke is not very family friendly imo(not funny), I'm just stating facts and being very careful to not offend and trying to be reasonable.

If you have a problem with anything in particular I have written as I've said before, feel free to p.m. me or others, rather that putting it in public.

As far as not knowing what it is like actually there is a huge amount of information in regards to what it will be like and what it will not be like.

I have a pretty good idea of what it will be like in my head already and I'm sure others do aswell, no harm in speculating, all in good fun.

I agree though we all need to keep it nice friendly and Civil, just like we are around a campfire as mates

I just completed my 3 year ownership survey for the 130. One of the questions was "what would you replace it with, the answer was a Ranger. The final question asked if I had anything to add that wasn't in the questionnaire, my answer - " I hope the new Defender is good enough that I don't have to buy a Ranger"

New Land Rover Defender Takes Off All Camo In Exclusive Rendering

Article is pretty useless and the rendering is way off the mark imo but a good crack.

They made the bonnet and roof etc too RRV.

    Won’t be retro...

That’s roughly what the D5 shape should have looked like.

These rendering attempts are all ignoring the JLR icon for the Defender.

100 % that's where they all should start, work off all of JLRs on record presentations and comments to press.

    I wish 'er indoors did.

Of course the other thing is that by the time LR release this kit, it could be overtaken by other technology & it will be back to the drawing board.

Hopefully using input from this forum. Wouldn't that be a coincidence?

Edited.....Meant to say, I thought 2 door "anythings" were old hat these days & really, the above does look like a squared off Discovery 1 Two door or the olde RaRo.

    just sayin'.
