Sounds like a good idea. You should ensure that the drag link is the same length as it to minimise the effects of bumps on steering.

Where are the flares from? How flexible are they?

Thanks Ben, they are imports from the uk, they are not as soft as the origionals as they are thicker plastic, but still flex.

I built a cover for the RHS along the base of the headboard. This is a good storage spot for the poles that will be used for the side awnings (more on those later)....

Also, I needed to build some ladders to access the racks. Building a pair of straight ones would have been easy and simple. But they would not have looked right, so i got a bit fancy.

The tough dog adjustable bars are only a out $160 and not a bad bit of kit. Good quality steel, large dia thread and Nolathane bushes. I have one of these and im quite happy with it

Is this due to the lift?

Yes, the lift makes the panhard rod "shorter" in effect. This pulls the diff to the right....

My old 86 RRC hung the diff out to the left....turned out to be a minor bend in the chassis......

It hasn't been lifted ...................... yet. New springs will be here on Tuesday.

IMHO, the bit of lift due to larger tyres would have been compensated by sag due to added weight of the bull bar.

Increasing the tyre size to get a lift should not have any impact on moving the axle sideways due to swinging of the panhard rod.

But I am sure you knew that already.
