    Well im upto the bit of the build i hate most of all paint striping & sanding..





    Does anyone know what this is on the side of me wiper motor . Never had a landy with this before..





    Also got one of these for the engine.Just waiting for it to get here..Theres noway i will go back to points..

    looks like an old school fusible link. Saves the wiper motor burning out if you get a short or power spike. Never seen it myself. I could be wrong though.

    The electronic distributor is a good idea. Do you know if the company does a version for the original 2.6L landy motor?

    The build looks great.

    Have you got a close up pic of the black things in that wiper accessory?



    Edit: Nevermind. It looks like it is a choke (for noise suppression) 7Amp 21 microHenrys. Possibly used to suppress wiper motor noise in a radio.

    Banjo, looks good. Every day sees an improvement.

    I'm keen to know how the distributor works out for you. I've been thinking about one for myself. Do you know if you run it with the standard coil and leads or do you also need to upgrade these for optimal running?

    The green one had it & it makes a huge differance over points, no more adjusting them all the time to make sure you get the best out of em..
    Most electronic distributors are just plug & play as such.I"ll never go back to points..
