Changed the fuel filter (Been a while...) and re-located my iPod dock in the cabin.
i looked at her and got a bit sad
she is not what i want her to be, but is so much better than i deserve
Changed the fuel pressure regulator. I don't know what all the fuss is about doing this. With all the posts I have read on this job I have almost been having sleepless nights over it.
All up took about an hour and a half including three cans of beer.
This is a job I would do in the bush if needed.
Dave.
I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

played 'find the oil leak' with 2 cans of degreaser and a wire brush
I ripped more stuff out of the 130, and had a battle with rusted bolts on the front drivers side seat belt anchor point, resulting in the angle grinder coming out, but half a bolt remains in the door pillar.
It was one of those days where you start one job and decide to extend the terms of agreement and rip more stuff out.

Started my old girl up after shes been sitting for a few months. Primed the fuel gave it a quick flick of the key and off she went. Beautiful landy lady that she is. Battery is 5yrs old and still going strong. leave it completely disconnected while she sits and rusts is pieces till I get back on my feet and fit the new firewall, boosted brakes, different front guard. Hope the historic rego inspector don't notice the booster.....Cheers Rod
