    Ok guys got her started, any one have a picture of the fuel screw and how much I need to wind her out or in

    you need to fit an egt sensor and adjust based on egt readings. Adjusting without egt you have no idea if you are in the safe range or the melty engine range.

    I have and egt sensor and boost gauge all set up....been looking on the forum for the last hour no luck... Not sure about the adjustment either

    it is a screw on the side of the pump next to a cam that you need to undo. If you google image search it will come up - or I can post later. Back it out half a turn at a time and go for a drive up a steep hill in between to check egt.

    So I driven up the steepest hill nearby hitting 9-10psi in second hitting the governor and with egt of 265, and in third gear hits at temp of 281.

    It sounds like your EGT is in the dump pipe (after the turbo), rather than in the exhaust manifold (before the turbo)???

    No I have it in the manifold before the turbo

    Something really wrong with the EGT install. Does it protrude so the tip hits the middle of the flow?

    You should get about 130C idle, 180C hot idle. A true reading for 260-280C will only give you enough power to do 60km/h.
