You're going to need dimple-die'd body panels to get in under GVM soon!

I have a fairly old Droopie somewhere (yeah, yeah, everyone's a comedian ) from when I had a Safari Snorkel on my D2. It's a lot shorter than the current version (not again ). I might dig it out on the weekend and see if it fits. I think the problem will be the shape of the ducting though.

Mine doesn't appear to have a gap between the duct and the blower so I think what dust I'm getting in is through the inlet. (Oh, and the open windows, and the doorseals, and the panel gaps... )

What I had in mind was a block of foam to cover over the inlet grill, held in place by the cowl. Haven't dealt with Uni-Filter for a while now but they used to be able to do stuff like that. I also have various bits of old socks and pod filters floating around so may be able to knock something up.

    It's now on the list.

    Cheers,
    Jon

    Gday Mitch.
While the mods all ad up, I carry very little camping gear etc as it's just me, and I'm not into silly BCF type folding seats, tables, Oz Pigs etc.
The roof top tent is only 60kg and I carry nothing else up there sans lights.
    I reckon I'm fine!

Hard to see but I could slide a finger into the gap easily.

Complained to LR under warranty - they attempted a fix but its a real bodge job which makes me think that perhaps the fault (misalignment) may be on lots of other TDCi's. I wonder if a few other TDCi owners could check if they have the same issue. (?)

My MY13 has the same gap. There are a couple of mentions this on other threads. Seems to be a common problem. It can't be just TDCis though

    Added some stickers

I'm heading off to Cape York tomorrow, but thought I'd add some stickers that I purchased to the truck to break up all the silver.
I think it came up ok.
Pics from my quick run up the Cape to follow.

Mine too. I shoved a finger into it today. Makes the fresh air warm from engine heat. I don't know what to do about it.

Fitted some checker and a snow cowl today.

    This product would work
    3M™ Extreme Sealing Tape 4412N | 3M Australia

There's a few different widths, so depending on your size of your finger, there is a product to cover the hole.
