    What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

    My 1999 Discovery 2 now has CDL chimes, and more....

    Today i upgraded my SLABS ECU to the version that LR fitted when they re-instated the Center Diff Lock selector in the facelift D2a. Now the TC / HDC / ABS in my early D2 work the way they should when the CDL is enabled, and i have chimes when the CDL is enabled / dis-abled.
    Thank you to OFFTRACK for his “how to” guide for this upgrade.
    NB: My CDL selector is a custom air ram actuator.

    What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

    I suspect that my HUNTER Di Speedo Correction Unit installation is clashing with ACE so I re-routed the Road Speed Signal so that an uncorrected RRS is restored to the ACE ECU.

    Red face

    Changed left hand rear door lock actuator dropped the door handle rod. 😡 Knew that inspection camera i got from aldi would come in handy one day managed to retrieve it . Got lock in then outside door handle will not open door, adjust lock with hex key all good now😊

    Did you have the SCU wired in straight out of the SLABS computer?

    Yes .. the SCU is mounted close by to the SLABS and the SCU input wire is spliced in 20mm or so after the speed signal wire exits the relevant SLABS connector.
