good work here guys, i can see a good future for this product and the supply chain
Set it up Paul! I'm happy to accept all WA freighted items and hand out to purchasers if there is enough and freight can be reduced.

Not to throw a spanner in the works but with a 20% discount with the group buy, the 10% GST and 5% Import will make obviously only give us a 5% discount in the end. Would it be better just to order directly form BBS with the 10% AULRO discount ?
Just asking thats all.
I'm in for one.
Hey guys.
I read this and if I bought a Disco II Nanocom that is all I need for my truck because when I look up the Disco II unlock code it lists this "This is the unlock code for a Nanocom EVOLUTION to unlock access to the Valeo Body Control, Active Cornering Enhancement (ACE) and the combined Air suspension and ABS (SLABS) system of the Discovery II." All of this is included in the original unit. my understanding is that I would only need to buy a second module if I owned a Defender as well. Is this correct?
In an email from Mattia when the Evolution first come out he said that the Auto Trans control upgrade would be on the way and would be sent out as an upgrade at no charge, is this still in the plans?
cheers
Matt
I've emailed Paul my expression of interest and I am happy to accept other peoples units for pick-up from my place in Macleod, Melbourne

I will be interested to see the figure you come up with Paul as I tend to agree with IceFyre i.e. that there is little benefit of a group buy (Price wise) with the GST and Duty versus ordering individually with the AULRO discount.
The issue of Tax Avoidance on imported goods is a 'non issue' as the Taxation Department clearly states 'there is no requirement to pay duty and Goods and Services Tax (GST) on imported goods valued at or below A$1000'
So the only issue seems to be Colin's wanting to send one large parcel rather than 10 parcels containing two units each? If Colin was prepared to bend his 'Rule' of 'the bulk discount rates we offer is only applicable when one person buys the requisite quantity in one go to be delivered in one consignment to one address'. then the group buy would be very attractive.
Although that would require all money to be collected and placed as one order, the problem does not seem insurmountable or am missing something?
Cheers
Ian
