Certainly up to the late 70s smaller vessels withdrew their pay day cash from the local Commonwealth Bank - an officer with a 9mm and a sailor with either a F1 or SLR (really a F1 while better for security but was too dangerous to lug around civilians) hopped into the ship's car, up to the bank with the withdrawal slip - driver outside with the motor running got the money and back to the boat - no one thought anything of it.

Did scheme with an other officer how to knock off the payroll from that "Vic training place at Westernport" and use the Patrol Boat to get away but in reality the boat was just too slow to make a getaway so that idea died a natural death.

Ah ha, the standard hallmark of a real Heist but not in a S1 which may have been attached to one's ship. Hhhhmmm, risky.

My fist school holiday job was in a menswear store in the middle of Queens Street Brisbane, I was all of 13.5 years old.
As part of the shops insurance a male member of staff had to accompany the office girl to the bank with the previous days takings.
Guess what one of the jobs I got was!
Honestly the office girl would have been just as safe on her own.
I did enjoy it though, I had a bit of a crush on her.

Why is it, when you buy 500g of prime mince, to make spag bog, savory mince or whatever, the meat ends up lumpy?
If using the same meat to make hamburger patties, it crumbles. Life can be such a girl dog.

I think you have to occasionally keep it moving with a slow stir.

My Grump for today is, when backing out of a parking bay at the shops 7& you are half way out why do people walking or driving have to walk behind you ? you are trying to look in all 3 mirrors plus camera screen as well as turn to look on booth sides. They only need to stop & let you out for couple of seconds & your gone . Then there are the ones who want your parking bay so they stop as close to where you are parked making it impossible to back out .

That’s when I pull back into the spot, shut down, hop out and walk off.

The frustrated looks are golden.

I usually just stand some distance away and make a call/play with my phone.
