    Corona Virus

And it is still an outbreak. Victoria waited too long, much better to act quick and act early.

SA acted correctly based on the info they had, the measures would not have have been as strict but still quick action was needed as community transmission has returned and it has shed light on more bad practices around the hotel quarantine process.

But full marks to NSW for having faith in their own ability to control the risk without closing borders to SA.

    Corona Virus

And this thread just passed 8,000 posts. Will it hit 10,000 by the end of the year and when will it crash the AULRO forum?

It may not be a chargeable offence to Lie in SA (bull**** yes) but I bet some Trader may make a Civil Action out of it having lost perishable goods etc etc, for instance, & Sue him. Now, whether he has sufficient collateral & funds behind him will of course will be another point in that decision but it seems unlikely from his circumstances.

Who can say with certainty at this stage? For me & mine it was a good move & better safe than sorry. Gets our vote.
I was being facetious, loosely linking lockdown times with the length of the lockdown. No offence intended.

As Sir Humphrey Applebee would have said "Well Minister, thats not for me to say"

But since you mention it DDB, it didn't fool the Masses, only the "Presiding Judge" & others it seems, & the Masses will remember, when it counts..

    Corona Virus

I think they need to bring Yes Minister back.....so much more new material they could use - and that is just in Australia.

If it gets a virus, do members have to quarantine?
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

At least they didn't drag the lockdown on for weeks when it wasn't necessary and have demonstrated a competent tracing system. Most importantly they have reacted to remove the restrictions as the threat recedes, something QLD and WA still have not managed to do months after the threat level has receded.

History will be the judge on what was right or wrong. It's not over yet.

FYI, It is back, maybe on Streaming or Netflix, can't recall which, 'ang on...................................

ah, just asked 'er indoors who just brought me a Cuppa tea.

She thinks it is Fox Classics on Ch. 117. It is the olde Series where Jim has been PM for a while

Hope this helps. I doubt that there will be an OZ Yes Minister not that there wouldn't be sufficient material (Barnaby does Secretary/PA)" for one & few other tid bits or should that be tit Bits? but the Brits do humour so well you'd agree.

"Tony gets a Plum Job" could be another with twists & turns & Polly Speak. Yer know, it really does sound like a BBC production already.

I'm sure you can think of other scenarios.
