    What happened to your D3/D4 today?

    Finally back home after three weeks in the Kimberley and doing the Gibb river rd.

    Seen a heap of Disco’s along the way, and met a few owners in the Gibb with common interests.

    I think this would be a one time opportunity I would put any vehicle, as you never know what is loose after those corrugations.

    I had blown two tyres along the way with the falken at3, 3 weeks old... probably due to an unnoticeable puncture. Cracked the windscreen, not looking forward to an aftermarket replacement! Seen a suspension fault error after water crossing at Elquestro, seems to have cleared itself. E-Parking brake seems to be faulting randomly now.


    Only met one Disco 5 owner who was waiting for his vehicle and caravan to be towed back to Perth due to a suspension fault, all expenses covered by LR.

    Nothing much. Put the 3D printer to work to make a nice mount for the XLifter.





    And made a sticker! Design by a bloke from the D3/D4 FB group.

    My 800mm ball bearing slides arrived from QLD in 2 days so will mount them to my storage frame and then work out the dims to make a tray to fit between them.

    Why did you go for a full xlifter instead of just a llams setup?
