    Thanks for replies.
So I tapped, with effort , the bushes back out. After tapping the old one in the old ball and taking some measurements.
One had picked up a burr as we pressed them in. The other seems to have stopped short.
I had used UK made bushes, but decided tho use the Brit part ones supplied with the balls.
I placed the balls in the oven for an Hr, the bushes in the freezer. But still they took some wacking in. Brit part clearances ????
All assembled, with a few extra shims. 10lbs of pull, RH, 11 on LH, as the inside wheels, take a bashing on our poor Tweed roads, on the scales I found hanging in the kitchen, returning the ones I had borrowed
Ordered some gaiters, so waiting on them before finishing the seals.

I used the Britpart kits to do mine - just did them at room temp and the went in ok with a few whacks of the hammer, I think they are supposed to be fairly tight I think, but if they're in there, then all good.

    Hi Rod. New.
Work on the bulkhead today. Very happy with efforts.
Loose paint removed, degrease and wipe down, and 3 coats of rust kill.

Once dry, some filler primer coats.
Another couple of filler coats, then Top coats.
Cant believe how many purpose holes in the Bulkhead !!!!
Supra owner, Daughters 18 boyfriend, who self taught himself to spray paint , now has 15 cars to do.
He got the paint, last trip to the paint shop. He takes over painting from now on.
Just as well practice on Gilbert.
