I'll fire it up in the next few days with my fingers crossed of course.

    Super easy job.

Had to remove a wire that was bolted with 2 bolts in front of plug. That probably took longer. If u do remove the wire watch out for the spring clip on the connector. It's easy to loose.

Or you could buy a 10 pack of rubber grommets for $5 and replace the grommet without goup. No mess and just whack a new seal in when it starts leaking again in 50k

Silicone can be bad and not allow the seal to move eg: TD5 CAM PLUG FIX!

It's a tad more for the oil proof Viton rubber o rings that go on the plug itself but still not breaking the bank and should last a lot longer than 50k

I meant o ring. I bought the nitrile jobbies rather than the viton though. Been in for 50k and no leaks. Not bad for 70cents.

Bummer. I didn't know about silicon being bad for it. I'm sure the supplier said it was ok to use instant gasket stuff.

Is it only the o ring that gives in or does the plastic also give up?

I had a wreck for spares with a good engine and picked up one with a knocking engine (Probably a bent rod) cheep on Car Sales so it didn't go to waste. There have been times today that I regretted it!

got my cupholders installed. A simple job, but one that was made a whole lot easier with the instructions. Cheers for that.

I've said it before but you have gotta love this forum....

I also spent the evening swapping my ARB non-winch bar with another guys x-rox bar and winch. it came with a winch, which I think I will overhaul before reinstalling. Plus I want to grind off a couple of mounting tabs on the top I won't use and repaint it first before I stick the winch back in.

But the bar without the winch has lifted the front end a bit. I can't say how much as I didn't measurer it, but definitely looks to be more of a gap in the guard.
