Well Karen got lost this morning Aus so she wouldn't seen anyone. She went to meet Brian to drop off the sliders at the twin servo's at wallsend but when she got there, there was no where for a B-Double to pull up so she rang Brian & he said ok just go through the round about & take the last round about & then turn right at the next & pull over i will meet you there..Well the last round about came & went , I gets a phone call i'm lost i'm on the freeway going to maitland. So she had to turn around & come back the same way then turn at the right round about then head for the Go Kart track then turn right & pull over..She told Brian that she got lost & he thought we where new to the area But then she told him she grew up here & been here all her life  . Thats a favourite spot for truckies to pull over, its near Seahampton and I see trucks pulled over there often!!!:)

so jealous - I LOVE lambshanks - we have them BUT NOT OFTEN ENOUGH :D
I cook 'em all day in the slow cooker - usually with some stuff thrown in so they come ready with gravy and veges - and then I serve them on a bed of mashed potatoes... mmmm - I am drooling just thinking about it.
No way it is a poormans roast - food of kings, I say!

We often have trouble buying them, unless we go straight to a butcher. We used to buy most of our meat from Woolies up until recently but their quality is right off at the moment - and the local Coles is as bad - so we go to the local IGA - they get their meat from a small butchery that isn't open to the public and the quality is just superb.
But they don't do lambshanks :(

How is Banjo & Mrs Banjo going.
If Karen thinks Maitland is a long way, Karen would love the drive I do every day. 150 Km of it, 90 Km of it winding mountain road alongside the Tweed River mainly.
After exercise class and doing some work on bikes [Ron not your sort of Bike], Went for my first long ride on new bike today, Coolongatta to Curumbin and back. Stopped at Airport on way back and watch planes for a while.
Still have not got all gears working on rear sprocket.

Hi John we are all good. Yes Karen would complain the whole way you would end up stopping & asking to get out.. . I actualy went out today for a drive took Karen down to BiLo then ended up stoping in at Aldi & went for a walk through there , They don't have any of there speicals left but was good to get out & have a look around, Woolies is coming along nearly all done they recon it will be opened this month.Yeah Aldi down here had some left over speicals there was a compressor droped to $119 & some electric tools wasn't allowed to spend anything as usual , I cant help that i want to buy everything i look at (tools)...Mite of scored another iphone realy cheap find out later this arvo :D:D:D ..
Gee's my cars going well i realy enjoyed the drive today ..
Pickup my spare wheel soon yay nearly paid off (bloody bills) wish they would stop coming . I want a bill proof letter box  .
Hey Fluids yeah your right about the fresh food people & prices the poor old farmer he gets bugga all for beef or lamb..
Liked it when my parents had the farm we would buy into getting a cow done got heaps of meat doing that way it was only costing them $300 to get done at the time so sometimes we would go halves , so much meat for $150 filled a chest freezer...

I was given an exhaust manifold over the weekend. I'm thinking of getting one of those sand-blaster attachments that you hook up to the air compressor. Have you tried one of those? The manifold needs a 'scrub'.

Yeah i have one from super crap auto its not the new gravity feed one but , It has the hose from the gun which you put one end in a bucket of blast grit..Used it once been in the shed ever since.. ITs yours if you want it i have blast grit to but that would be a bit heavy to post but i will get Fatty to see about the gun to yours tomorrow if it ok to send we will but it in the mail at the same time will put it in a 3kg bag cause they overnight..

The trip to Sydney was a complete and utter muck up. Job card says pickup from Sydney at 3.30pm and transport to Newcastle, problem is it was supposed to be pick up in Newcastle at 3.30pm and transport to Sydney. Office muckup. As far as the post count is concerned I'll be a "Wizard" soon won't I.
Been looking at the Aldi catalogue for this week, going to buy the 4WD Recovery Kit for $49 and the Air Compressor for $99, I was worried about the quality but the Aldi brand has been discussed on another thread and I think for the use I will give the items, they will do the job. Had a look at an Air Compressor at the Reject Shop at Glendale for $10, would you believe but I think at that price it would be junk, put it down real quick!!;)

Every morning I pass a dark green defender/white roof with www dot ausfish dot com dot au advertised on the back of the roof section, above rear door [had to edit this post as it gave the website thinking it was what I wanted, but I only wanted to give the address of the site as on the Defender. The defender does not have the word "dot"]. I do not bother to look up that web address.
The fish I personally like are swimming in a Marine Tropical Aquarium preferably with coral & Anemones [clown fish, damsel fish, Angel fish, lion fish, butterfly fish, seahorses, etc.], or are swimming live in the ocean. Not attached to any hook and line.
Also hi to Karen and Jason, and Mrs HH, etc.

Hi Sleepy, hope you are well.
As far as crashed computer, you can buy a good new Laptop for around $600--, but do not know the price of desktops. If you have strong reading glasses and miniature fingers you can get a mini Laptop cheaper [check the hard drive size though, some cheaper laptops at around $320 dollars have very small hard drives]. Recently a friend purchased a brand new Laptop with a 160 gig hard drive for only $330--. It was ex-shop display.

Hi,Banjo, spent some time in our vege garden last weekend.
I pulled out all the tomatoes that had had their day & planted the peas & beans.Got some telegraph pole peas this time,so see how they go.Put up some chicken mesh so they can climb it.
Last year had a good crop of peas & then went to the Cape for three weeks & it was very dry & the boys didn;t water them:mad::mad:,so didn't get one pea.
Also planted some brocoli & coliflower. We have lots of trees,so we don't get as much sunlight as we really need.
Have also got a drip feed water system & timer now,so it is easier to water,& if we go away the boys only have to come over & turn the timer:)

Hey John, a little bird has whispered in my ear that the Defender you are talking about is based at Chillingham, do you know anything about that??

Bloody kids.
Summer just been we had a great crop of tomato's, zucchini, cucumber, beetroot, beans, baby carrots, squash but we didn't like them turned out to be the white one's,lettuce, strawberries & we finaly got the rockmellon to grow & then had to move so left it there...
Home grown vegies are the best tasting & you get them nice & fresh not been in cold storage..

I do see it most mornings parked on the old highway at Murwillimbah, around one kilometer northeast of the old railway station [a little past the roundabout and turnoff to airport/industrial area], if any one wants to check satellite Maps.
Chillingham is only 15 minutes away by road, and because I see it around 7AM, it may be before he goes to work near/at Chillingham.
Or maybe that defender has a twin brother.

Hi Jason.
Rose, a local homeless girl, just 2 days ago showed me a newspaper magazine article where she gave an interview saying why she was homeless. Rose got a $50 Woolworth's voucher for giving the interview--I have not read it.
Rose started of by saying she was a sex addict and an alcoholic--I already knew Rose drank a lot. Everyone is giving her heaps for what she said, but Rose told me she did not care.
Sadly Rose has many different boyfriends, many of which bash her--I have often seen her with black eyes. At least one of her boyfriends is now in Jail, and I think it is the same for others.
So Jason, you are not the only one who has made their problem public. But unlike Rose you are facing your problem.
I was going to have a talk to Rose this morning but she was drunk or possibly drugged, so I steered clear, but we said hello to each other.

There is only the two of us at home now, umm, plus two dogs & two parrots, but we never seem to have too many home grown vege's.
Thats probably because we don't spend enough time looking after it.Now i have the water drip system sorted things should look up.It gets hard to water the vege garden when you get home from work & its dark,so now i just turn the timer, fantastic.
Some of the bean plants are already about 4 inches tall:)but whether we get any beans or not,we will have to wait & see.

So we are going to look for a cheap garage to put up & hopefully we can get another landy project a SWB this time would be nice. Going to get my brother inlaw to pink slip Karens car so we can just get another 12 months out of it ..
Have to have alook on the net for some shed places so we can get some prices & see what is available for the size slab up the back plus we want to be able to put it up like a puzzle so we can take it down when we leave as you can never have enough sheds or storage..
What would be the cheapest option timber or steel ?.

Well i put some carrats in on sunday & some baby carrots wth some snow peas .. Also put some brussel sprouts & some broccoli in my seed planter thingy hot box made from plastic & you put it in the sun..
Karen had to take Cody to the doctors today as he has been complaining of his foot hurting. Well he has to go & have an ultrasound on friday morning the doctor thinks he has torn his achylis heel tendon don't know for sure but will know on friday, The doctor said it is a bad injury to have as it could cause trouble later in his life if it doesn't heal properly.. So Karen is happy as she doesn't have to go to Scone this weekend for footy. but Cody not real happy he likes his sports.. He could be out for the whole season if it is torn..Not looking forward to that he is a pain in the bum when he got no sport to goto , well he could be water boy he wasn't to pleased when i said that..
PS thanks Ian for the kind words & to everyone else to thanks ..It means alot to us to have friends..

Jason, another option is contacting your internet provider. You can do this on the phone.
Interent bullying is a very hot topic at them moment, it is in your internet providers interest to help you track it down and stop it. Look at that poor waitress in Melbourne that was harrasesed on Facebook - very sad story.
Your internet provider can identify the sender, they often have departments (read two geeks in a small office!) that specialise in this type of offence. Keep your emails too, it is important to collect evidence against the individual. Then contact the Police as the inidvidual may be charged. If you do take this path I would caution against posting the progress here - he is probably lerking here.
I would also PM one of the moderators here - (you may have already done this) - Whilst there is probably not much they can do, as it is coming to your private email, they may be able to offer further advice - unfortunately this is a big site and attracts all sorts.
(You may also like to remove email address from your profile).

Hi Jason/Karen, hope you both are well. Spent all of yesterday driving my friend down to Lismore to see his daughter and spent most of today driving him, so have not got on the net till a little while ago.
Drove him to look at a Toyota van at a Christian lady's house and mentioned I talked to a person with Agrophobia. She said she had previously suffered with Agrophobia, so would like to talk to you, so expect her to come on this thread. Hope that is okay. She is a nice Christian lady who is doing work for the local homeless, etc. She may prefer to use a computer name, so will not tell you her actual name. It is the second time my friend and I have had a drink and sandwich at her place.

I hadn't told Karen about the emails i was trying to deal with them on my own. I told her of the last one as it was the one to get to me as i was called a RETARD that realy got to me ..
Yeah i mite be a little bit slooowwww but hay **** happens. But we have to deal with what where delt so i do the best way i can..
It could be worse i could sit around & **** & moan about it & not have done anything about it at all & not seen a doctor or shinks & i would of been alot worse by now if i did that as depression is a terrible thing & the panic attacks are very debilatating if i have a big attack it can take weeks some times months to get back to normal Thats when it is realy hard on Karen & the kids, as no one can come over & Karen worries about going out after one..IT HAS BEEN QUIET AWHILE SINCE I HAVE HAD ONE THAT BIG , I still get the occasanal small one where my heart is in my throat & i get so dry i can't breat properly , feel like i would pass out , get very light headed. Thats why i worry about meeting people as i would hate for that to happen while meeting one of use as its very embarrasing, Thats a small one I can drive threw those. If i had a big one i would do the same only i would be in the bathroom in cold sweats thinking i would passout or completly loose control & throwup (that scaers the **** out of me) thay why we have 2 kids they can hold the bucket for each other LOL.I have trouble when the kids are sickhearing it or seeing it does it for me. But when i get that far it feels like i'm loosing everything & thats when things get realy bad i can't control my breathing or heart rate & i get realy dry & have trouble talking & i feel like i will crap or **** meself so embarrasing thats when i wish i would just die or have the ground open up & swollow me..Thats why i am so scared to meet with people if i did that while meeting one of use , use wouldn't see me for months on here i would not be able to show myself.. I have only ever had one heart flutter while meeting with Aus that was early in the peace now i look forward to him turning up , he has taken old Toms spot now..
So if i'm ever off here for more than 2 days you's will know something is wrong..
So there ya go a bit of a **** & moan.

Banjo, my 2c worth which I'm sure you already know:)
My Mrs as you know, has had the same thing for 20 odd years although right now she's the best she's been in say 5 years.
One of the big probs she has with coping/dealing/overcoming this thing is remembering "THE BIG ONE" that happened in the past. Yeah, it might have happened in the past but that was the past. You're older, wiser, have better developed coping strategies, etc. Easy for me to say but the past is the past, you have to to be fatalistic and say if it happens in the future I'll deal with it. I guess what I'm trying to say in my (as usual) poor way is put the past where it belongs, in the past, and keep pushing yourself forward. Anxiety and panic attacks won't kill you (although you may think so at the time:()
but I know you know this, etc....:)

No i we never think its negative as you are living the same thing threw the same prospective as Karen & she tells me the same thing & the guys here remind me everynow & then that it is in the past, & i am sure you tell your wife the same as you say to me..
Our problem is just that it is in the past & we remember the big one & are scared of the next one as we know what will happen..
I cant emagine what it would be like for your wife to go through to be a woman a mother & to be going through this stuff would be so hard for her.
I think that came out wrong.

I always keep old X-rays, even from before then. See if later Doctors do find something odd, they can look at the old X-rays to compare & determine that it was not always that way, that is what showed up now was not always there in the past so is a recent growth.
for example, very old X-rays of my knee do show a spur of bone. One doctor was talking of operating to remove it, but I produced old X-rays to show it had been there for a long time, so that it was not the cause of the trouble I was having.
So that's why old X-rays should be kept.

Well thats twice this week i been out went & done the papers with Karen cause asking the kids is like asking the to chew the arm off & pass it to you so that was an hour on tuesday. Them ended up going down the road today to have alook at the new woollies nothing speical there although the trafic is bedlem people trying to direct trafic everywhere & i doubt they had any idea as to what they where doing as they caused more greef than anyone else. Its funny people watch us park one handed & look dumbfounded as we do it with one hand palm steering.. HAHA i love me power steering., Went to the cheap shop got a park right out the front so Karen wasn't happy & wondered around in there for awhile then thought i would pickup the kids but someone was hungry so took her to a shop at Cardiff south & by this time i was busting for a piddle so had to stop at the soccer oval, Then went & sat at the school & waited for the kids. Much easier to wait now with me iphone it has heaps of games , Got the kids plus one & dropped her off just round the corner from us & got home about 4 oclock..So that was a couple of hours out today.. Took the dog with us but ended up bringing him home as i left me wallet on the table as usual...

You say you'd be upset to have a panic attack while a friend was visiting. That would be embarrassing, obviously, but a true friend like Ausfree wouldn't be offended, a true friend would want to do whatever he or she could to help, although a friend might be a bit unsure what to do to be most helpful. Having an illness is not a sign of weakness, whether its a headache or the flu or any thing else, its just an illness.
My wife is normally very 'out there', but occasionally has a bit of a panic and withdraws for a day or two, so I do have some idea what it's like.
People who become offensive about this, like your cowardly anonymous emailer, are just revealing their own ignorance and shallowness. They have no idea, so they try to make themselves feel big by belittling others. They're the fools!

Had a mate that had epolectic (sp) fits, when we went fishing off rocks or piers we used to tie him up, safty harness tied off so he wouldnt fall in. Got a lot of comments from other fishos, mostly good harted but some spitful. Never worried us or him. Carted him unconsious one night from the central highland lakes to launceston hospital one night, very nearly lost him that night. He suicided in the end, never seen that coming. I suppose we all have stories to tell
cheers

I think any of us on this thread would'nt be offended if Banjo had a panic attack while we were visiting him, as we now have an understanding of this condition, thanks to Banjo "outing" himself. I know I knew nothing at all about it before posting on this thread!!!:)

True - I wouldn't be offended - probably a bit annoyed with myself that I caused it. I reckon I would probably say something like "OK mate, I'll catch you later" and get out of his space.
Who knows - would depend on the situation I think.
Cleaning up some of the garage today. I have put up a shelf for the paint tins - and am surprised to see that I have filled the bloody thing. I didn't realise I had so much paint!

Old Tom used to do that & then he would call in ,in a couple of day later to see if i was ok or he would text me ..He used to think it was his fault to but its no ones fault it just happens i cant control it sometime , sometimes i can..
It only ever happened twice i think in maybe 6 or so years that he called in..
I hit the deck both times as i tryed to hide it coming on got dry in the throat light headed & then fell on me ass..
He said well **** ya then i'm going home & just walked out never questioned me about it. , in a comical way he never ment anything...
He used to know i wouldn't eat before i went out or if i knew he was coming so he would stop & get a couple of small pies & a couple of small bottles of coke then turn up & say so have you had lunch yet when i said no he went & got them out the car & said me either so lets have something to eat..
I actualy went out after eating a big lunch yesterday for a couple of hours went into the cheap shop then stoped in at the secondhand tool shop in John st..& i had breakfast something i don't usualy do that .. then went & waited for the kids & picked them up from school..

Exhaust manifold has now been sandblasted.
That was quite a mission - but it is ready to be painted now.

um - yeah - I did the manifold and one wheel.
10kg of black gritty sand all over the place.
What I didn't swallow ended up all over the front driveway.
So I got the leaf blower out (after TAB suggested it about 10 times) and 'shared the love' with my neighbours.
The feral ones.
So they now have what looks like a kiwi beach in their front yard.

ah sux
I just got the manifold paint out and read the destructions.
Air temp of 16ºC to 35ºC - don't they know? Canberra rarely gets double digits in the 'off summer' seasons!
and... they suggest I 'cure' it in the oven at 3 differing temperatures?
They haven't met TAB

That's easy for you to say - you are hundreds of miles away.
I may just do it.
