Having raced in a few all-comers scratch races with clubs like the Bentley Drivers club there are some guys (and girls) with balls bigger than I would ever have. (Both my cars had full cages although one was open!)

The driver of the Napier Bentley for example who is deaf at the frequency that it fires at... ps dont ever be on its left as you go past (under brakes) or get overtaken (on any straight!):eek:

I was stuck in a workshop driveway one Friday night because of one inbred brain dead moron, leaving their * car for the weekend.

solution ! I walked back up to the workshop grabbed the trolley jack, went back lifted the car off its wheels and gave the whole mess a good shove down the slope.
The car hit a few things on the way and finally stopped in corner of the retaining wall with one of those huge potted trees behind it. :wasntme::wasntme::wasntme:
I returned the trolley jack and went home for the weekend. I did hear later some vague report of a car being retrieved by a crane. I know nothing !

I did something similar, Arthur, one Friday night about 40 years ago although in my case, the car was unlocked so I ran it down the ramp in the basement car park at work and left it there all weekend. The owner thought it had been stolen. It was returned to him undamaged (we rang the police on the Monday or Tuesday to report it was in our car park). He never parked in front of the car park gates again.

There's one in the wild down here. About 2 years old, not completely earless. It's ears would be pushing 1". Looks totally hilarious.

Makes sense, but I've seen lots of pics of missiles launched from decks of ships as well. Bit hard to tell how big the missile in the picture is, seems smaller than the ones subs launch though. Impressive video nevertheless:)

The Yanks use "soccer" like we do because the term "football" is used for their gridiron football over there. Just as we have commandeered it for our Rugby Union/League and AFL. All these games should really be called handball not football...

What do you suppose it was that threw her?

She was confused by the questioner's use of two syllable words like "locate".
She doesn't know what a map is.
She hasn't heard of the United States or doesn't know the difference between America and Africa.
She was concentrating so hard on keeping her shoulders back to emphasise her best features that she couldn't concentrate on the question.
All of her brain cells were occupied telling herself to "breathe in, breathe out, breathe in ...", so she had none left to compose an answer.
She couldn't persuade her mouth to keep that fixed smile and to talk sense at the same time.


Her demeanour at the end suggests either that she has the confidence and the ability to maintain her poise even when she has come across as a real airhead or else she doesn't realise how inarticulate she sounded.
