Love the second bubble. This is actual steam. The bullet has a lot of vacuum behind it, lowing the pressure lowers the boiling point of water. it also explains why it disappears so quick as the pressure comes back on. The first gas bubble is gas from the cartridge. it needs to cool first that’s why it takes longer

Actually its a capstan, the spanish windlass is when you make the rope into a long loop between 2 objects then twist up the rope.

So, what is it? A Kubelwagen?

The vehicle in question is called a Munga.
Made in Germany in the late 1950s to early 1960s.
It has a Two stroke motor....I think it is three cylinder.
I think Auto union made it.
Used by the military.
I do know it has a clockwork paddle arrangement in side the fuel tank which mixed up the petrol and oil for the motor.
A few have been imported to Australia. many years ago.
A movie set in WW2 called Eye of the needle ( Starred Donald Sutherland) has one in it and the big give away is the trail of blue smoke( like a 707 on take off) and the distinctive two stroke burble.

That door is the new Rolls Royce. The unbrella in the end of it is the most expensive unbrella ever - according to Top Gear magazine.
