I am not so sure, motor looks well maintained and I am sure as you got into the swing of things and really leaned in to the curves the ride would be just fine ?

hahahah iv'e done this to my car before, it's even easier if you let your tyre down it allows you to get to your wheel nuts then you can swap them over and call the company and tell them they can come collect there wheel clamp. :twisted:

Really, how do you do that? I thought the design of the clamp prevents you from accessing the wheel nuts. Must have a look at a wheel clamp design to see how it is done. Could come in handy one day :)

Let's face it, crims can still get their hands on handguns even though they are illegal on the black market. Wielding a handgun here represents ultimate power. I was admiring a turbine disk from a small gas turbine at Avalon air show a few years back. The hub and blades were one lump of metal. I asked the rep. how they were made. "Friction welding" he said. He then explained that the blades were held against the hub and vibrated so hard that the metals fused at the junctiion. Pretty impressive result.

I remember a story that made the Melb newspapers in the early mid 00's when I lived there.
An enterprising vigilanty group of fellows would rescue clamped cars for free basically by stealth and in lightning quick time.
Their method? LPG cutting torches and air shears.:cool:
They would cruise the parking strips in an unassuming vehicle and when they noticed a clamped car, pull in and rescue it. I believe it was a quite sophisticated and slick operation.
It made the news because the clamp company complained to police that they were having many of their clamps stolen and destroyed! :eek:

I've stolen this from the Stromtroopers forum (Suzuki V-Strom bikes). I'm just amazed at what can be transported by sea.



While walking the dogs this morning we saw a crane delivery ship bringing three container cranes into Seattle. These came from Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co. They are just about ready for operation. The third photo shows the previous delivery ship at the dock ready to roll the cranes off the ship and on to temporary rails on the dock.

The crane builder is owned by the Chinese government, and this and other crane builders often have orders booked years in advance. This builder also fabricated the sections for the new San Franciso Bay bridge. These specialized crane ships do nothing but deliver and reposition cranes. Container cranes like these load containers of motorcycles in Japan and discharge them in Los Angeles for our riding enjoyment. These cranes are 247' tall and reach out over the ships up to 175' beam with 24 stacks wide of 8' wide containers. (The containers can be 20', 40', 45' long and 8', 8'6", or 9'6" tall). The ship looks top heavy, but the stability is carefully calculated and the ship is ballasted as needed.

It probably fell off the truck while loading or unloading it - we have had more than one of ours turn turtle over the years. Ours have ROPs fitted, so the drivers walked away - hope the driver of that one walked away...

I saw this ship years ago unload 6 of these cranes in Beirut port, the amazing part is the precise ballasting of the ship while unloading the cranes.
